Healed Beyond Hope (HBH)

Myofascial pain describes symptoms that relate to the connective tissue of the muscles and cells, the fascia,  and the muscles themselves. Therapists treat this pain using myofascial release (MFR). MFR is a gentle method where the therapist applies light pressure to the patients "stuck" areas allowing the fascia to slowly "unwind" until pain and mobility are improved or eliminated. Many events can cause myofascial pain, including physical strain, surgery, trauma and inflammatory conditions. Often, people feel the pain from these knot-like constrictions at different points in their body (referred pain). The release of these origins or "trigger points"  can alleviate pain.

Craniosacral therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on approach that uses a light touch to examine membranes and movement of the fluids in and around the central nervous system (CNS). The therapist releases restrictions in the soft tissues that surround the CNS. CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and it is effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction.

Relieving tension in the CNS promotes a feeling of well-being by reducing pain and elevating wellness and immunity.
