Brain health is critical to overall health and success in life, yet so many people live with brain problems or are at great risk for developing them in the future. 


There are many facts about Alzheimer’s disease, depression and obesity, and why diseases such as these are different expressions of the same unhealthy lifestyle. We use neuroscience as the point of reference, and brain images to illustrate the positive changes patients can make to turn their lives around. Dr. Amen has the world’s largest SPECT brain imaging database related to behavior, collaboration with major universities and medical institutions has led to an extensive library of published scientific research that continues to grow.


Healed Beyond Hope offers community programs in schools, churches, and addiction recovery centers as well as individual sessions.

Lunch and Learn


In a lunch-and-learn, employers encourage employees to eat lunch in a group setting while simultaneously utilizing that time to complete trainings, seminars, and other education. This provides businesses with an excellent opportunity to train employees in an informal environment and it can help increase team engagement.


The lunch-and-learn is normally free of charge, and the employer supplies lunch or the attendees bring their own. The company usually provides lunch as an incentive to attend. What sets this concept apart from other programs is the accessibility and less formal structure of the approach. A lunch-and-learn is an easy way to develop and motivate colleagues while creating a workplace of communication, collaboration, and learning. The session may also cover important issues and promote an open platform of information for colleagues. The subject of the lunch-and-learn can be anything from health, leadership to personal growth, and is formatted to the needs of the organization. Participants are encouraged to use the development they have received and create or enhance an existing personal development plan of growth to encourage and support further learning.


The timing does not have to be at lunch – the premise is the same no matter what time of the day you do it (“breakfast-and-learn,” etc.).


Virtual lunch-and-learns work the same way as in-person lunch-and-learns do; they just use a virtual meeting platform.
